Achim is an experienced technology professional with 24 years of global work experience. As Principal Advisor at Ecosystm, he focuses on Digital Transformation, AI Risk, IoT, and Technology Advisory. Achim’s expertise covers Asia Pacific tech markets and decision maker priorities, technology and services innovation, strategy advisory and change management; and research and thought leadership. Prior to joining Ecosystm, Achim was a Principal Analyst with Forrester Research, covering responsible AI, data governance, consulting service providers, cloud and digital. Before that, Achim was the Chief Technologist – Analytics, APAC for DXC Technology (formerly HP Enterprise Services) and served as the analytics technology lead for the region. Achim has worked in multiple senior roles for Microsoft both in the US and Singapore, building cloud architectures and analytics services. He was part of IBM’s Business Analytics CoE in Shanghai, China, and has built his initial career with SAS Institute in Europe and Asia in strategy and consulting roles. Achim holds a Master of Science degree in physics. Calling Singapore his home since 2007, he is a keen traveler and a passionate scuba diver and instructor.
