Amrish Thaker is a seasoned expert in the field of Continuous Process Improvement using Lean manufacturing and principles of Toyota Production System. His aim is to help create better quality, service, reliability, staff optimisation and profitability. He also provides leadership training and coaching in areas including Kaizen events training, daily management, problem solving, 7 habits of highly effective people and team building for success. Amrish worked at the high-end furniture brand MillerKnoll, and Brown Printing as Corporate Continuous Improvement Director. He worked very closely with Shingijutsu using Toyota Production System and Lean principles for process improvement. He also served as President/CEO at MULLER MARTINI CORP. USA – mailroom division, industrial manufacturing, and R&D facilities, managing a P/L of $100 MM; and regional director of Operations for Valassis/ADVO managing their California and Arizona facilities in the packaging and direct mail/marketing space with $160MM in P/L. Amrish was responsible for various multimillion dollar “Greenfield” plant startups, process improvement using Six/lean Sigma and SPC methodologies, staff reduction through automation and plant management at RR Donnelley. Amrish holds a BS and MS in Electrical engineering and an MBA in marketing and finance. He is a certified Lean Practitioner, a certified Six Sigma- Blackbelt with experience in Western and Eastern Europe, India, China, South America, and South Africa.
