Arun is an accomplished leader with over 10 years of specialised Lifesciences & MedTech experience, driving business transformation through innovation and technology. He is the founder of Crely Inc., a digital health platform for Osteoarthritis, that uses digital biomarkers and artificial intelligence algorithms to improve patient outcomes and minimise post-acute care (PAC) costs. As a Principal Advisor at Ecosystm, Arun will be providing critical market insights to navigate the thriving and complex Digital Health, Value-Based Care and Medtech industry. In his previous role, Arun served as Vice President, Group Information Officer – International at Stryker Corporation, where he set up the organization and led the transformation of technology services for all markets outside of the United States. Through smart integrations with hospitals and other value chain partners, Arun helped to build a patient-focused, connected ecosystem that enabled Stryker as easy to do business with. He also championed the setting up of AsiaPacific Medtech CIO roundtable under the APACMed umbrella to bring CIOs together to collaborate on industry-wide issues and opportunities. Prior to joining Stryker in 2014, Arun held multiple global roles at the Merck KGaA group, at the intersection of business process transformation, information technology and M&A integration. He also won a leadership award for an innovative approach to improve the quality of life for Multiple Sclerosis patients using digital technology. Arun has also held business and technology leadership roles at Nike and General Motors Corporation in the areas of manufacturing, e-commerce, supply chain, marketing and retail management. Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program. Arun is an avid traveller and has lived in India, PR of China, Germany, the United States and Singapore. He is passionate about reducing inequality in society and has volunteered for The Hindu Centre, SINDA, Greater Boston Food Bank and Harvard Alumni Community Action Program.
