A veteran in the field of networking technologies, including Wireless, IP Networks, Data and Voice and Video Services, Ashok brings over 35 years of unique perspectives as an analyst and consultant in the telecommunications industry. Previously the Director of Custom Research with Current Analysis, Ashok specialised in providing strategic assessments, comparative analysis and recommendations to clients. Prior to that, he was an independent Technology Advisor and Principal Consultant with New Media Systems offering insights on Enterprise Mobility, OTT Video, Wi-Fi Offloading and Wireless Technologies. Ashok holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Madras, India and Master’s in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. He is a board member of the Wireless Technology Forum and the Industry Advisor Council of DeVry University. He is also a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In his free time, Ashok is an active participant in industry conferences such as Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conferences.
