Krish is committed to – and passionate about – technology that sustainably serves genuine human needs. He brings an international perspective to business and innovation across life science disciplines and closely related ‘hard tech’. In a career nearing 35 years, Krish has managed product development, launches, manufacturing and operations in emerging markets throughout Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Krish spent more than 20 years in various corporate roles at organisations such as Pharmacia, Novo Nordisk/ Novozymes, and Kalbe Farma. Since then he has been a management consultant, led company turnarounds, and supported over 50 start-ups in the ASEAN region as a mentor and coach during the last decade.
In the early 1990s, Krish co-founded XCyton Diagnostics, a leader in immunodiagnostics in Bangalore, India. More recently, in 2016, Krish co-founded ImmunoHeal Personalised Medicine in Singapore. These companies focus innovation and technology on infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology and data analytics in a manner that is crucial in the coming decade.
Krish has an MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Hyderabad and an MBA from the Ivey Business School in Canada.
When he isn’t geeking out about science to his long-suffering wife, Krish can be found cooking strange meals and working up the willpower to go hiking or cycling.
