Over twenty wide-ranging years in telecommunications, Peter has held a variety of roles spanning everything from marketing, corporate strategy and data & analytics to product management, change management and finance. As a Principal Advisor at Ecosystm, Peter will lend this extensive experience to provide customers with strategic and tactical insights and analysis in the telecommunications space. Prior to Ecosystm, Peter spent six years at IDC New Zealand where he served as Research Director, leading the consulting and analytics business. He was subsequently promoted to New Zealand Country Manager, running the P&L for the company. Previously, Peter also worked as Head of Strategy for Telecom NZ’s Wholesale division, and as GM, Business Marketing and GM, Consumer Product Marketing at TelstraClear. With a reputation as a “straight-shooter”, Peter is regularly sought after for media commentary, facilitation and consulting engagements. He is experienced at sizing technology markets, authoring business cases, and interviewing and profiling customers and vendors. Peter is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW, FCA) and holds a BA in Pure Mathematics from the University of Warwick, UK. Away from the world of work, he is a passionate footballer and writer and is looking forward to the publication of his first novel.
