Louise Francis

Louise Francis is Country Manager for Ecosystm New Zealand and Principal for Industry Research, working closely with organisations to navigate rapid, technology-driven change and identify opportunities for growth and long-term resilience. She provides grounded, independent advice that brings global perspective while remaining deeply attuned to New Zealand’s market, policy, and operating realities.

With more than 25 years’ experience advising digital executives, policymakers, and industry leaders across New Zealand and Asia Pacific, Louise is known for translating complex technology trends into practical, locally relevant guidance that delivers measurable business value. At Ecosystm, she leads industry research that informs executive decision-making and shapes technology roadmaps across sectors and C-suite roles.

Louise also plays a central role in New Zealand’s technology leadership community, leading Ecosystm’s flagship New Zealand CIO Innovation Summit & Awards, delivered in partnership with Brightstar, and contributing deep continuity and credibility to recognising excellence in digital leadership.

Prior to joining Ecosystm, Louise was IDC’s New Zealand Country Manager and Head of Public Sector Research for Asia Pacific, leading large, multi-stakeholder research engagements across government and industry. A highly regarded facilitator and speaker, she regularly designs and leads executive roundtables, strategy workshops, and leadership sessions that cut through hype and accelerate decisions.

In her spare time, Louise enjoys adventurous travel, fly fishing and fly-tying, organising wine tastings, and hosting friends and family around good food and great wine.
